Job summary

QPLIX GmbH sucht einen Engineering Manager (m/w/d) in München, der ein Entwicklungsteam auf- oder ausbaut und eng mit Tech Lead und Product Owner zusammenarbeitet. Sie übernehmen Planung, Implementierung neuer Features und Hands-on-Arbeit bei Tickets sowie die Gestaltung und Optimierung von Teamprozessen.

Sie führen das Team in einem agilen Umfeld, verantworten Bi-Weekly-Release-Zyklen und fördern Training sowie Teamentwicklung.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder eines verwandten Studiengangs.
• Mindestens 4 Jahre Berufserfahrung und Führungserfahrung in kleinen Projektteams.
• Erfahrung in der Leitung von Entwicklungsprojekten mit Fokus auf nicht-funktionale Anforderungen und Schulung junger Kolleginnen/Kollegen.
• Beherrschung einer objektorientierten Programmiersprache – idealerweise C#/.NET (Wechsel von Java möglich) – sowie Erfahrung mit HTML5/CSS in Web-Frameworks.
• Unternehmerische Denkweise und Begeisterung für unser Produkt.
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.

Responsibilities

• Aufbau oder Ausbau eines Entwicklungsteams zusammen mit Tech Lead und Product Owner.
• Verantwortung für Planung und Umsetzung neuer Features, inkl. Hands-on bei Tickets.
• Prozesse innerhalb des Teams gestalten, führen und optimieren.
• Förderung einer agilen Denkweise und Bi-Wochen-Release-Zyklen.
• Verantwortung für Training, Unterstützung und Teamentwicklung sowie Organisation von Team-Events.

Your mission

• Build or expand a development team together with your Tech Lead and Product Owner
• Take responsibility for planning and implementing new features, including hands‑on work on tickets
• Shape, lead, and optimize processes within the team
• Promote an agile mindset and ensure bi‑weekly releases with your team
• Take responsibility for training, supporting, and developing your team members, as well as organizing team events

Your profile

• A completed degree in computer science or a related field
• 4+ years of professional experience and initial experience in (technical) leadership of small (project) teams
• Experience managing development projects with attention to non‑functional requirements, as well as training junior colleagues
• Proficiency in an object‑oriented programming language — ideally .NET C# (switching from Java is possible) — and experience with a web framework including HTML5 and CSS
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for our product
• Very good English skills
