Become part of the eMobility development team, which develops cutting-edge energy management solutions focused on optimizing energy consumption at charging stations across Europe.
The team is responsible for creating the eMobility product at gridX, integrating rule-based approaches and advanced optimization techniques to provide smart charging solutions for EV charging stations at public parking, fast charging stations, and logistics clients.
We are looking for a talented developer to take ownership of our energy systems simulator, used for testing our software and demonstrating its behavior to customers.

Take ownership of the energy systems simulator, including APIs, interfaces, and architecture.
Identify and implement improvements for the simulator.
Collaborate with team members to define new features.
Develop code that adheres to internal standards, and promote these standards through code reviews and discussions.
Deliver small features and improvements independently, and handle larger projects with team support.
Communicate new features and updates to stakeholders effectively.
Maintain a pragmatic approach, prioritizing task completion over perfection.
3+ years of experience in software development on large projects.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, C++, Java; we use Go), preferably a statically typed language.
Experience with automated testing and/or test-driven development.
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
Ability to work independently on topics.
High intrinsic motivation to tackle challenges and drive results.
Nice to have:
Open source contributions.
Experience in energy system modeling.
Leadership experience in software project implementation.
