We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer (m/f/d) who is driven by the idea of facilitating technical decisions and who wants to have a great impact on health & fitness in our society. Apply now and join one of our teams in Berlin!

• Development: You develop high-quality software, including features, performance, testing, and documentation
• Team Collaboration: You work as part of a team to implement new software projects in microservices written in either Go or Java
• DevOps: You own the complete cycle from development to release and help us develop our DevOps Culture
• Learning and Development: You learn and evaluate new technologies and skills, sharing this knowledge with other developers in the company

Your fitness level

• Experience: You bring at least 4 years of experience in backend software development, including at least 2 years focused on APIs for SAP HANA and solid knowledge of SAP HANA objects.
• Passion: You are a passionate backend developer who writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java or Go. You are open to writing code in these languages.
• Tool Flexibility: Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Spring, Event-Driven Architecture (Google PubSub), Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, GCP is preferred but not required.
• Adaptability: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, revising assumptions based on new information.

Your training goal for your first 6 months

• Ownership: Take ownership of your work, understand its architecture, and deliver on product requirements and features while improving testability and functionality.
• EGYM Ecosystem Familiarization: Get familiar with the EGYM ecosystem and the roles of different teams in the software engineering department.
• Team Integration: Integrate well with the team and the company culture.
