In the context of changing architectures and requirements, we need your support to realize our vision of delivering high quality software in collaboration with a number of partners in a complex system and process landscape!

Your Tasks

Taking over the Product Owner role for Satellite or Instrument Control Software, interfacing between software team and system team
- Managing and prioritizing the software product tasks
- Ensuring the information flow into the software product team
- Identify, control and reduce software product risks
- Control technical progress, schedule, cost and quality
- Lead the control and evaluation of changes that impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project
Creation of technical concepts and requirements for Satellite Control Software and Instrument Control Software
Preparation and conducting technical reviews.

Your Qualifications

Degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
Expertise and experience in software engineering, in particular state-of-the-art requirements engineering and software design
Knowledge of real-time embedded platforms (RTOS, embedded Linux, ...), as well as communication interfaces; experience with projects in the context of avionics systems is a plus
Strong team player, analytical thinking and organizational skills
Quality awareness and application of standards such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or comparable (e.g. DO-178B)
Enthusiasm and self-motivation
Fluency in spoken and written English
