Your Responsibilities
  1. Software and model-based system development using MATLAB/Simulink for medical suction and flushing pump systems.
  2. Independent creation, management, and alignment of system and software requirements in a cross-functional, international context.
  3. Close collaboration with the R&D team in Southend-on-Sea (UK) and other global development sites.
  4. Development of test specifications and planning/execution of unit, integration, and system-level tests.
  5. Participation in interdisciplinary project teams involving R&D, Quality Management, and Regulatory Affairs.
  6. Contribution to innovative product development and research projects in the field of medical technology.
Your Qualification
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable technical field.
  • Solid experience with MATLAB/Simulink, particularly in model-based design and simulation.
  • Proven expertise in requirements engineering and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical content.
  • Experience with embedded/low-level programming (e.g., in C, C++, Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical device development processes and standards (e.g., IEC 62304) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
  • A proactive and structured working style, with the ability to work independently and effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams.
