This position is within the Product and Platforms organization, focused on developing advanced industrial barcode readers, machine vision, and smart cameras. We integrate custom hardware, lighting, optics, and vision algorithms to create embedded systems capable of reading high-density symbols on various industrial parts, including aircraft engines, electronics, and pharmaceuticals. Our devices must read hundreds of codes per minute, requiring us to optimize hardware and software for top-tier performance.

About you:

We seek a pragmatic software professional with a can-do attitude, eager to learn and apply new developments to keep our software platform at the forefront. Our ideal candidate:

• Holds an engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Has experience developing in C, C++, and Python.
• Has worked with automated white box testing (desired).
• Is energetic, motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possesses good presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Is fluent in English, both verbal and written.

What you will do:

• Write white box tests in Python to evaluate embedded systems.
• Enhance existing C, C++, and Python source code and test frameworks.
• Debug and fix source code in C, C++, and Python.
• Create or review test specifications for completeness and testability.
• Maintain and analyze test robot results, communicating findings effectively.
• Occasional travel to the USA or Hungary.
