We are searching for a Software Engineer II, Applicationsto join oursoftware team located in Hamburg, Germany. You will work on a wide range of software solutions for music production on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, integrating perfectly with the audio hardware product line. This person is familiar with music technology hardware and software, enabling them to understand the technical requirements and challenges of our products and solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the software team lead and other members of the development team to design and develop our cross-platform application software
  • Regular communication with the QA, Product Owners and Product Designers
  • Designing, improving and implementing application software
  • Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide software design concepts and guidelines
  • Communicate closely and continuously with the development and QA groups, as well as product management
  • Collaborate with team members to refine requirements for software development

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar education
  • Established working experience in application software development
  • Strong object-oriented C++ programming skills required
  • Knowledge of VST/AU plug-in technologies is a benefit
  • Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, XCode, Git, Jira / Confluence)
  • Fluent German and English language skills essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time, task and resource organization skills
  • Background in music production and audio technology a benefit
