Your role

As a Software Engineer (Elixir), your mission is to craft the next generation of our Event Inc Platform, accelerate our company growth, and reimagine business automations with AI tooling.

You will:

  • Lead the effort to replace all legacy systems with the newly developed platform.
  • Ensure that all technical KPIs for the new platform outperform industry standards.
  • Implement solutions to eliminate manual tasks required to operate and manage the platform.
  • Establish full test coverage for all use cases and edge cases, ensuring high quality and reliability.

To achieve these outcomes, you will:

  • Collaborate on UI/UX improvements using LiveView and TailwindCSS to enhance usability.
  • Prototype and develop ad-hoc tools with Livebooks to address immediate business needs.
  • Analyze and modernize legacy solutions written in Ruby, Python, PHP, and JavaScript.

  • Deep technical knowledge of Elixir, Postgres, Phoenix, LiveView, and TailwindCSS.
  • Hands-on, can-do mentality with end-to-end delivery capability.
  • Ability to adapt and improve upon unsuccessful attempts; "this can’t be done" is not part of your vocabulary.
  • Strong communication skills, from planning to documentation.
  • Analytical skills and customer focus to quickly grasp needs and deliver solutions.
  • Proficiency in English; German skills are a plus.
