YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

For further development and expansion of our successful business, Raisin is looking for highly motivated, smart and driven engineers to complement our team in Berlin. As a Fullstack Developer here, you will be working on backend integration with partner banks as well as on our public websites, together with an international team of top developers from companies including Google and Facebook.

Your responsibilities will include:

• The focus will be on back-end activities, such as implementing new features for integration with our partner banks
• Supporting with the implementation of some new features for our Website
• Working with PHP, JavaScript, and some HTML, CSS
• Guiding features through implementation, test, refinement and launch
• Working closely within the self-sufficient cross-functional squad to deliver new features
• Aligning and setting best practices within the back-end specific chapter team
• Working within the squad and chapter to find practical and efficient solutions to complex problems
• Extracting common patterns and turning them into reusable components
• Being responsible for your work, learning from your mistakes and improving yourself continuously
• Actively participating in an agile and collaborative scrum process

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience in the field of backend development
• Good knowledge and experience with PHP, JavaScript and source code management (git)
  Some experience with HTML, CSS and WordPress as a CMS is a plus
• Understanding, dissecting and influencing business requirements in order to find a suitable technological solution is one of your core competencies
• Good understanding and practical experience in working in an agile environment using test-driven development and continuous integration
• Writing clean, maintainable and well documented code comes naturally – we strongly believe in Uncle Bob
• You are comfortable with very open and challenging code and architecture discussions
• You are an open-minded and creative team player willing to continue creating our culture
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Good language skills in English, both spoken and written, German is a plus
