To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for Front-End Software Engineers to join our engineering teams. Front-End engineers build and own user-focused interfaces, work closely with Product and Design teams, and collaborate with other functional teams across the Engineering organization.

As a Front-End Software Engineer at Grammarly, you will:
- Ship production-grade code to over 30 million daily active users.
- Grow and maintain the team’s technical excellence by focusing on best practices for the team and product.
- Contribute to the technical culture of the company.
- Harness engagement metrics to identify and build new impactful features.
- Use React and TypeScript while building refined and elegant user interfaces.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Core, Growth, Enterprise, Trust, and Data to deliver delightful product offerings to our customers.
- Make a meaningful impact on the lives of writers everywhere!
Qualifications
- Bring at least 8 years of experience in front-end development.
- Have solid software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with ReactJS, AngularJS, or similar UI frameworks.
- Ready to tackle infrastructure challenges when needed.
- Knowledge of modern web client development and testing tools.
- Good understanding and practical knowledge of continuous integration and delivery methods.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manage tasks across multiple projects, analyze and execute work efficiently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

- Experience with functional programming.
- Previous experience running experiments or A/B tests to test product hypotheses.
