W e are currently seeking to employ a motivated and enthusiastic Java Software Engineer to strengthen our team of software and system engineers to develop a new control software for Gateway, the first international space station around the Moon. The main objective will be to develop software and implement new components in the systems.

What you´ll do
  • Develop the Monitoring & Control System for Gateway, the first international space station around the Moon
  • Design and implement sub-components of the system in compliance with the overall system architecture
  • Create technical documentation of implementation in Wiki system and UML Model
  • Support proactive evolution of current technology stack throughout the initial development phase and subsequent maintenance phase
What we are looking for
  • Auniversitydegree incomputer science,engineering or in a similar subject
  • Proficientin Java 11/17,Apache Karaf (OSGi) Framework,OSGimethodologyand Kubernetes
  • DevOps mindset and experience in CI/CD pipelines based on Nexus, Jenkins, Git and Docker
  • Experience in agile software development lifecycles, with theAtlassian Tool Suite
  • Experience in Linux environments and supplementary scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python)
  • Fluency in English
  • The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
    • Experience in web-frontend development based on the React framework
    • Experience in ApacheService MixplatformandApache Kafka
  • EU nationality required
  • It is required to work on-site at least 1x/week
