As a Software Engineer (all genders) in the Fulfillment Core team at Zalando, you will provide centralized capabilities around Inventory Management and build products that form the foundation of every fulfillment process. You have experience in a JVM-based programming language, preferably Java or Kotlin.

You are familiar with SQL, relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), and cloud services (AWS).

You possess a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and a strong interest in solving real-world problems.

You can independently develop and test features

You have optional experience with CI/CD, automated deployment, and monitoring tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.

You demonstrate good technical and communication skills, as well as teamwork abilities.

You have fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
