Software Engineer

For the Aerospace Business Unit, PACE GmbH is looking for a Software Engineer to join an international team.

Your responsibilities:

1. Be part of an international team that designs, implements, and tests safety-critical real-time embedded software;
2. Develop embedded applications, participate in, and contribute to software reviews and related documentation;
3. Design and document software architecture and preliminary design;
4. Write requirements in compliance with quality standards, avoiding over- and under-specification;
5. Manage requirement changes, including impact analysis and baseline establishment;
6. Verify that subsystem, equipment, and component requirements are correctly and completely implemented.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of computer systems and related technologies;
2. Strong understanding of software engineering principles;
3. Proficiency in C++;
4. Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle;
5. Business proficiency in English.

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of DOORS and Python;
• Proficiency in German language.

Education:

A Master's degree in Aerospace, Computer Science Engineering, or related fields.

Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, networking skills, ability to work independently, and self-motivated.
