We are looking for a committed colleague for our Electronics Research & Development department:

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (m/w/d)

We are a medium-sized and internationally active company of the IST Metz Group, the market leader in industrial UV technology. Our UV lamps and electronic ballasts are used worldwide in printing machines of all renowned manufacturers for ink and varnish drying. For the UV water treatment market, we develop and manufacture innovative lamp systems for municipal drinking water disinfection systems, industrial water treatment, and ballast water treatment on ships. We are also developing DC charging stations for the growing electromobility market.

Your responsibilities

• Development of software solutions for electromobility
• Optimization and maintenance of existing software
• Development of software functions, implementation, and validation according to the V-model
• Implementation and adaptation of interfaces between the charging system, battery, and vehicle
• Coordination of innovative development projects independently and within interdisciplinary teams in the product development process

Your qualifications

• Completed studies in informatics, computer science, or a comparable field
• Good expertise in C software development and embedded systems
• Knowledge in cybersecurity
• Good understanding of standards
• Ideally experience with microcontrollers and interfaces such as SPI, Ethernet, etc.
• Professional experience with protocols like Profinet
• Creative and goal-oriented working style
• Enjoy working in a team
