Qualifikationen

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for several

Software developer (m/f/d) for product development within the Smallworld GIS software solution

for our headquarters directly at Dortmund's Phoenixsee as well as our locations in Berlin, Crailsheim, Darmstadt, Dresden and Karlsruhe or Graz. Our positions are available both full-time and part-time from 32 hours per week - completely flexible and compatible with your individual needs.

This Is What It's All About

• You will work on the further development and customizing of the Smallworld GIS software products, using Magik and Java as programming languages
• The configuration, customization and development of software in the areas of user interfaces, business logic and databases are also part of your tasks
• You will support our customers' applications and ensure that they run smoothly
• You will also carry out software upgrades as well as system and program tests to ensure the quality of the solutions
  
  

What You Bring With You

• You have a degree in (geo)computer science, vocational training or a comparable qualification
• Experience in object-oriented programming would be desirable, but don't worry - learning the Smallworld programming language Magik is part of your training
• Ideally, you already have know-how in development with Java or C# and in dealing with databases
• You enjoy learning new technologies and familiarizing yourself with exciting topics
