We are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) / Programmer (m/f/d) for simulator applications for a project assignment with our client in Erlangen.

Your Future Area of Responsibility

1. Implementation of control technology functions for operational and safety control systems in simulators.
2. Development of I&C functions within simulator models in coordination with the I&C design team.
3. Processing requests for quotations and contributing to quotation texts and calculations.
4. Commissioning of systems at the customer's premises.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, software development, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience with TXS Space Core software and the spacedb Python interface.
• Deep knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtual machine platforms (VMware).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as LabView, Grafana, Python, PyQT, and C.
• Good knowledge of C compilers (GCC, Visual Studio) and experience with Makefiles.
• Knowledge of network socket programming in C.
• Experience in commissioning simulators (e.g., CA-TS Simulator).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently with a structured approach.
