Tasks

• Programming, testing, and analysis of software components, primarily according to architectural specifications and/or in consultation with a Level 4 or Level 5 software developer
• Programming and testing of software components, partly according to design specifications
• Documentation of the software components for which you are responsible
• Integration of software subsystems from multiple software components, including in the target system
• Support with system integration
• Technical guidance for Level 1, 2, and 3 software developers
• Identification, analysis, and definition of the implementation of complex functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., competing, contradictory) in software and their implementation
• Integration and commissioning of complex subsystems
• Participation in the analysis and review of data provided by the customer for the respective process for assigned work packages
  
  

Requirements

• Completed master's degree in computer science/electrical engineering or comparable
• Very good programming and design skills in an object-oriented programming language
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Good knowledge of the C++ programming language
• Experience in the field of active and passive sonar systems and in the practical application of physics
• In-depth knowledge in the field of signal processing
• Several years of experience with military systems
• Willingness to travel worldwide
