Fujitsu in München is seeking a software developer to contribute to the ongoing development of BS2000 mainframe OS components and support the entire software lifecycle including testing, maintenance, and service. You will design IT architectures based on customer requirements and work with international partners on complex projects.

Your Responsibilities

• As part of our software development team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of key operating system components for the BS2000 mainframe operating system and support the entire software lifecycle, from specification and implementation to testing, maintenance, and service support.
• Contribute to the design of innovative and complex IT architectures based on customer requirements.
• Work within large development teams and collaborate closely with our international strategic partners.
• Support the creation of technical documentation and develop content for user manuals.
• Provide technical support to our service and sales colleagues, including back-level maintenance support and troubleshooting for your own modules as well as third-party components.

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree (for example in Computer Science) or a comparable vocational qualification in an IT-related field.
• Initial professional experience in software development, including programming languages (preferably Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages) and system debugging.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, including source code management and continuous integration.
• Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
• Very good German and good English language skills.
