Zusammenfassung

Fujitsu Germany GmbH is seeking a Software Developer to join our software development team and help develop key operating system components of the BS2000 mainframe. You will support the full software lifecycle from specification to service.

You will work in large teams with international partners, contribute to architecture design, and create technical documentation. Fluent German and good English are required; relocation is not offered.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in Computer Science or IT-related field.
• Experience with Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages; ability to debug systems.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, including source code management and CI.
• Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop key operating system components of the BS2000 mainframe OS and support the full software lifecycle from specification to testing and service support.
• Contribute to designing IT architectures based on customer requirements.

• As part of our software development team, you will further develop key operating system components of the BS2000 mainframe operating system and support the entire software lifecycle, from specification and implementation through testing, maintenance, and service support.
• Contribute to designing innovative and complex IT architectures based on customer requirements.

• Provide technical support to our service and sales colleagues, including back-level maintenance support, troubleshooting of your own modules, and third-party components.

What You Bring

• Successfully completed degree (e.g., Computer Science) or a comparable qualification in an IT-related field.
• Initial professional experience in software development, including experience with programming languages such as Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages, as well as system debugging.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, including source code management and continuous integration.
• Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
