The Software Developer – Lab Automation System (f/m/d) at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for translating requirements into software design.

This role is part of the Software Engineering department in Munich and offers a hybrid work model. Our vision is to relentlessly re-imagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will:

1. Prepare documentation as required by internal processes and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO.
2. Create architecture, design, code, and perform unit testing on modules and components.
3. Participate in design, code, and test reviews, ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices, and compliance with functional and regulatory standards.
4. Investigate software, hardware, and system issues, providing innovative solutions.

Essential requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with several years of experience in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Development experience with Visual C#.
• Extensive experience in .NET / .NET Core, Multithreading, NUnit / MSTest.
• Experience in agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of OOA / OOD, UML tools, and design patterns.

It’s a plus if you also have:

• Experience with Visual Studio 2019 or higher.
• Understanding of software lifecycle processes (requirements, design, coding, testing) in regulated environments (ISO 13485, ISO 62304).
