Job Description:

As a software developer you will be a key part of our ground control station team to improve the data-processing workflow of our VTOL systems. Together with our World-Class-Team, currently 3 team members, you will take an empowering role: pushing the boundaries of drone technologies.

You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Embedded Systems, Navigation, and System Test departments to improve the postprocessing pipeline of our ground control station and to port functions to the aircraft. With the software development of postprocessing functions you'll support Quantum Systems‘ mission to transform decision-making processes through aerial data intelligence.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

1. Design and implementation of postprocessing functions for digital images
2. Improvement of the postprocessing workflow to increase quality and reduce complexity
3. Porting of existing postprocessing functions to the aircraft
4. Improvement of the user experience
5. Execution of test procedures and flight tests

What you bring to the team:

You have a finished degree from a technical university or a comparable background. Working experience in the field of measurement.

You are highly experienced in C++, with GNSS data formats (Rinex) and GIS-Coordinate systems, and experience with RTKlib.

You have Embedded Linux experience, and knowledge in Drones, aerospace or comparable fields. Optional C# skills.

Due to your open, communicative, friendly and competent attitude, it is easy for you to be considered as an internal expert.

You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility independently.

Communication in English is a matter of course for you.
