Your tasks as a software developer for sonar systems (m/f/d):

1. Develop software components independently for sonar systems.
2. Analyze requirements, design software components, and implement them for our sonar systems.
3. Conceptualize algorithms, evaluate their applicability, and create specifications, design, and test descriptions.
4. Test software components and analyze errors in the target system.
5. Maintain existing software components and implement redesign ideas.
6. Present results to different target groups during system development.
7. Monitor technological trends and implement them within the company.

Software developer - Your profile:

• Successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• Some professional experience in software development; familiarity with clean code and software craftsmanship; enjoyment in writing tests and production code.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented software development with modern C++, with initial experience in design, testing, build (cmake), and/or CI/CD, preferably with GitLab.
• Ability to implement mathematical algorithms efficiently; ideally, experience in digital signal processing or sonar processing (e.g., FFT, FTR).
• Ability to work quickly, structured, and with agile methods.
• Strong team skills, high sense of responsibility, and flexibility.
• Proficiency in written and spoken German and English.
