Software Developer/ engineer

Full-Stack Developer (AWS, Python, FastAPI) – Aachen/EU

Location: Aachen, Germany (Strong preference for candidates in Aachen or within the EU who are willing to relocate)

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

About the Role:

We are looking for a well-rounded Full-Stack Developer to join our team. This role goes beyond frontend development and requires expertise in databases, system architecture, and cloud services. You will work on cutting-edge solutions in a dynamic and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain full-stack web applications with a focus on AWS services and backend development.
2. Design scalable system architectures with a strong emphasis on security and user management.
3. Work with databases and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
4. Contribute to medical or regulated software projects, adhering to relevant compliance standards.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. AWS expertise: Experience with services such as S3, AppRunner, DynamoDB, Cognito, and Lambda.
2. Backend development: Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
3. System architecture & security: Experience in user management, cybersecurity, and scalable web architectures.
4. Regulated environments (a plus): Familiarity with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, HIPAA, GDPR or similar medical software regulations.
5. Language: Fluency in English (German is not required but a plus).
