Qualifikationen

• Several years of professional experience in Informatics and Aerospace / Avionics.
• Experience in embedded software for avionics and virtualization tech.
• Familiarity with avionics standards (ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software.
• Knowledge of hardware architectures (x86, ARM, RISC-V).
• Skills in C/C++ or Ada, RTOS (VxWorks) and CI/CD methodologies.
• Fluent English; German language would be a plus.

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics system
• Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices
• Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects
• Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in Informatics and Aerospace / Avionics
• Experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications and with virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers)
• Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development
• Knowledge of Hardware Architectures (x86, ARM and RISC-V)
• Skills in C/C++ or Ada, real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks) and with CI/CD Methodologies
