Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation is seeking a Software Architect (m/f/d) for Airbus Operations in Hamburg (Finkenwerder). The role focuses on designing and documenting software architectures for IoT and connectivity, spanning mobile, backend, and IoT dashboards.

You will manage interfaces between software and hardware and define end-to-end concepts with colleagues across architect teams. The position is fixed-term through March 2028 and demands fluency in German and English, plus experience with Agile

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Computer Science or Business Informatics or comparable.
• Several years of professional experience in Informatics / Information Systems and Software Architecture.
• Knowledge in Agile methods, network protocols / services, communication protocols (e.g. MQTT), data modelling, PHY / MAC layer protocols, and network security protocols is a plus.
• Good skills in Jira, Confluence and Google Workspace.
• Skills in Scaled Agile Framework and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Virtual Machines) are a plus.
• Fluent German and English skills spoken and written.
• English CV is necessary.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting as Software Architect (m/f/d) within the Cabin & Cargo department at the location Hamburg / Finkenwerder.

This position is a fixed-term position through March 2028.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and document software architectures and concepts
• Define software architectures for IoT (Internet of Things) and connectivity features
• Define E2E architecture concepts for the full-stack software applications such as mobile applications, backend applications, IoT dashboards, connected smart devices etc.
• Manage interface requirements between different software and hardware products
• Provide the functional and system specifications for Airbus suppliers
