Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Architect to articulate technical architecture effectively through current and future state diagrams, solution best practices, reference architectures, and design patterns, aligning with business requirements and incorporating feedback from chemoinformatics and engineering teams.

The role involves supporting data-driven decision-making by evaluating architectures, implementing API-first strategies, designing integrations, and leading pivotal technical discussions on transformative technologies. Collaboration with security teams to integrate robust security controls and driving Cloud technology adoption are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and evaluating technical architectures for new services and features.
2. Collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging innovative technology developments.
3. Supporting the adoption of Cloud technologies, including designing disaster recovery and backup strategies.

Who you are:

• Over 8 years of experience in developing web applications with deep knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency with Python 3, Django, Angular/React, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading architectural changes and advocating for a Cloud-first methodology.
• Ability to evaluate cloud technology options and manage multiple projects from design to production.
