Enabler for smaller, more powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips
Working for tomorrow today.
Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are produced using ZEISS technologies. As the centerpiece of every electronically controlled system, they have become an integral part of our everyday lives – whether in smartphones, smart homes, or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems, and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the advancement of micro- and nanoelectronics.
Do you want to drive the digital transformation forward with us?
Join us as a Software Architect Algorithms in Semiconductor Technology (f/m/x) in our Semiconductor Mask Solutions (SMS) business unit in Jena, Roßdorf or Oberkochen and shape the digital future of ZEISS in the Global Algorithms & Software Semiconductor Mask Solutions team!
Our sophisticated algorithms evaluate enormous amounts of image data in a highly efficient manner. Only in this way do we enable the performance of our complex photomask systems - the essential building block to manufacture defect-free microchips.
Our high-tech measurement systems for semiconductor lithography are characterized by extreme demands on measurement precision. Design and performance of these devices require highly accurate numerical models of the physical device – a digital twin.
