About the Role

Are you skilled at transforming complex ideas into compelling visual content? We seek a visual storyteller to create engaging social media content and build rapport with the research community. This position offers the chance to work in a global, purpose-driven company and to be part of the Corporate Affairs team.

This role can be based in our Berlin or Heidelberg offices with a hybrid working model.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Content creation: Develop posts for Springer Nature’s social media channels, focusing on graphics, videos, and visual storytelling.

2. Community management: Engage with our online communities, foster positive relationships, and respond to criticism.

3. Social listening & issues management: Use social media tools to monitor brand mentions and support reputation management.

4. Campaign management: Plan, execute, and analyze social media campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

• Proven experience in social media communications or marketing is advantageous.

• Advanced skills in social media and image/video editing tools.

• Data-driven with strong analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in English and German.

• Strong interpersonal skills, ideally in a global context, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and teams.

• Organized, versatile, resilient, and capable of multitasking.
