Founded in Berlin by Jacqueline Mikuta and Klemens Weiss, MIKUTA began in 2017 with a jewelry line and expanded into women's ready-to-wear in 2019. Today, MIKUTA is an independent fashion brand known for effortless design, premium feel, and a distinct point of view. We’re currently one of the fastest-growing DTC brands in the fashion market.

Our Team is spread across Europe, with a Studio Office in Berlin and a production Office in northern Portugal. We are currently working with Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter Collection cycles and soon grow to a product portfolio of more than 150 products.

About The Job

We’re expanding rapidly, and to strengthen our brand and community, we’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can lead and execute our cross-platform strategy—from content planning and creation to community engagement and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the social media strategy tailored to each platform (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn), aligned with MIKUTA’s brand values and growth goals
  • Plan and manage a monthly social content calendar in collaboration with content and product teams
  • Collaborate with design and copy teams to brief, create, and publish platform-optimized content (video, image, copy)
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, aesthetic, and messaging across all platforms
  • Implement community engagement strategies and manage daily interactions (DMs, comments, mentions)
  • Promote product launches, restocks, campaigns, and editorial content with platform-specific storytelling
  • Track and analyze performance metrics weekly and monthly (engagement, reach, growth, conversions)
  • Optimize content strategy based on data, audience behavior, trends, and competitor benchmarks
  • Identify opportunities for UGC, influencer content, and editorial storytelling integration

About You

  • Background in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing social media in a brand or agency setting
  • Strong understanding of platform mechanics, algorithms, and formats (especially Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest)
  • Experience with performance analytics tools (e.g., Meta Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, Later, etc.).
  • Nice to have: experience working with Dash Social
  • Excellent content sensibility and ability to maintain a cohesive brand identity across channels
  • Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
  • Nice to have: Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or DTC brands
  • Passion for storytelling, digital culture, and building engaged online communities
