• Understanding of the time requirements and schedule surrounding live sports, including nights, weekends, and flexibility to work major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• In-depth understanding of players, storylines, and narratives surrounding the NBA and NFL; bonus points for MLB and broad sports knowledge.
• Creativity in producing content around sports, with the ability to adapt to trending topics.
• Strong written communication skills and a knack for storytelling.
• Experience in the sports/entertainment social industry and familiarity with Sprout Social or similar tools for calendar management and social listening.
• Creative eye for design and proficiency in tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Figma; video editing and creative work within platform apps also important.
• Deep understanding of meme culture and ability to connect with and relate to sports fandom.
