A health and wellness company is seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to enhance their online presence. The ideal candidate will manage social media content across various platforms and engage with the community. A bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of relevant experience in social media and health and wellness are required. This is a full-time remote position with a salary range of $79,000–$90,000/year.

We are on the precipice of a rebrand and are seeking a Social Media & Community Manager who will help amplify and execute tasks related to social media content and community engagement across our channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube.

The ideal candidate has experience in the natural supplements, nutrition or wellness space, is fluent in both social content and community engagement, and brings hands-on experience with graphic design, media buying and video editing.
Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Health Professional and Sales teams, the Social Media and Community Manager will assist in developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing our social initiatives across channels, as well as engaging with our loyal and growing community, with the goal of increasing followers and engagement across our three brands: Symphony Natural Health, Femmenessence and Original Himalayan Crystal Salt.
This is a remote, full-time employee (FTE) position. Candidates must be available to work standard business hours Pacific Time or Mountain Time (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST or MST) and occasional work during weekends and evenings to support real-time collaboration with the team.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have 3-4+ years of relevant full-time experience in social media, health and wellness and dietary supplements, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Graphic design and video editing experience required. Hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest) and Google Ads, from setup through optimization. Mission-driven company experience is a plus. A nutritionist or health coach background is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Experience writing copy for organic and paid social media. Takes direction well and follows through on assigned tasks. Able to represent Symphony’s brand voice and speak confidently about natural health topics. Strong interpersonal skills and follow-through.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and be a decisive thinker under pressure.
We are lean as a team and wear multiple hats. Therefore, multiple skills are essential. The founder is integral to team activities. Flexibility is required as there can be significant shifts in work cadence required. Must have graphic design and video editing skills. Knowledge of social media, influencer marketing, and innovative ways to communicate with audiences and partners. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving talents. Strong computer, technology, and social media skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints. Familiarity with Canva, Trello, Sprout Social, HelpScout, ChatGPT, Midjourney or similar. Adobe CS is a plus. Must be passionate about natural health and social media.
This is an FTE position requiring availability during regular business hours (Pacific or Mountain Time). Because of the nature of the role, we expect responsiveness and real-time collaboration during the workday. Due to the responsibilities and visibility of this role, we require disclosure of any outside employment or freelance work. Any outside work must be approved in writing and may not conflict with our mission, working hours or role expectations. Employment may be terminated if undisclosed concurrent work is discovered or if it negatively impacts performance or availability.
