Jobbeschreibung

We are currently seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Architect to join our client team in the Data Platform Solutions division, responsible for implementing complex data and analytics projects.

As a Snowflake Data Architect (f / m / d), you will be part of an innovative and growing team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Snowflake data warehouses and data pipelines. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

1. Design modern Snowflake data platform architectures, from initial discussions and functional definitions to technological implementation.
2. Identify data use cases and select suitable technologies for optimal implementation.
3. Plan and actively support migration projects from on-premises landscapes to the Snowflake data platform as a data architect.
4. Contribute to internal laboratory projects, develop the data & analytics portfolio, and support pre-sales activities.
5. Mentor and lead colleagues.
6. Share expertise to develop the advisory portfolio, participate in conferences, obtain certifications, and test new ideas in customer projects.

Required Skills :

1. Enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge about applications, technologies, and tools in data & analytics.
2. Degree in computer science or comparable training, with practical experience in consulting or software engineering preferred.
3. Deep understanding of the data & analytics landscape to select and justify suitable technologies for various data types and sizes.
4. Experience and personality to coordinate complex situations and represent Snowflake data platforms with enthusiasm.
5. Extensive experience with Data Platform Solutions, especially Snowflake (and tools like dbt, Fivetran) and Cloud Analytics Services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
6. Cloud software engineering skills to provision and develop cloud landscapes using PaaS components.
7. Experience with different architectures and modeling approaches in Data & Analytics projects.
8. Strong communication skills with stakeholders and team members.
9. High results and client orientation, fluent German and English, and willingness to travel across Germany.

Minimum Requirements :

1. Fluent in German.
2. 6+ years of experience in data platforms and cloud, preferably in consulting, with expertise in:

• Design and implementation of cloud data platforms and data management via ETL / ELT.
• Migration from OnPrem / Cloud to Cloud.
• Test concepts.
• CI / CD for data platforms.
