SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Systems Engineer (Task Lead) to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

  • Serve as Task Lead to ensure effective theater-wide management of this technical area.
  • Facilitate flow of information from the PM to geographically dispersed task technical implementation personnel, and ensure task implementation issues / challenges are communicated to the PM for resolution / awareness.
  • Design, develop and engineer solutions to complex theater systems integration challenges / issues.
  • Oversee program systems management and integration functions .
  • Manage and mentor subordinate personnel, as required .
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
  • An active Secret security clearance with an SSBI .
  • DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 451 Certs : SecurityX / CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or FITSP-O or GFACT or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
  • Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Proven administrative support experience, assisting contractor management with various tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction .
  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations .
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700 .
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs .
  • It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
