Description and Requirements

Lenovo DACH is growing and investing in its Smart Collaboration team! We are seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for driving Workplace Transformation opportunities through new and existing Channel Partners.

You will be tasked with growing revenue and profit, positioning our company for ongoing success, and promoting the innovative power of our products to enhance customer productivity and collaboration. You will join an EMEA-wide team and report to our EMEA Smart Collaboration Channel Lead.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building partnerships with existing and new Smart Collaboration Expert partners by coordinating sales, opportunity management, marketing, and technical support to maximize revenue and margin for Lenovo Workplace Transformation products.
  • Developing and executing operational plans for Workplace Transformation products and options.
  • Analyzing business metrics and performance.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks through contingency planning.
  • Maintaining deal momentum with the help of segment account managers and local sales specialists.
  • Fostering positive relationships in the territory and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Keeping abreast of market and competitive trends to serve as a trusted consultant and educate customers and partners on Lenovo's Smart Collaboration offerings.
  • Producing accurate account plans and sales forecasts, and tracking sales activities using reporting tools.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the IT or AV industry.
  • Ability to sell the value of Workplace Transformation solutions.
  • Strong relationships within the IT channel ecosystem in the DACH region.
  • Fluency in German and English.
