Job Description:

Site Supervision Support for Installation and Commissioning Electrical (m/f/d)

Freelance/Contracting project in Lingen. Start date: ASAP. Reference number: 773038/1

Responsibilities

Site Supervision - Electrical Installation
Interface and focal point between local construction management and engineering home office for all electrical engineering issues
Clarification of site queries with engineering home office
Participate and contribute at site construction team meetings
Support on site, troubleshooting, making small red markings in existing documentation or preparing new drawings (hook ups) as part of field engineering for solving issues
Supervision, confirmation checks of the installation works, progress tracking, and giving instructions for installation and mechanical completion (MC) for:

Switchgear installation
Cable trays and secondary cable ways via wire mesh or conduits
Installation of small steel structures, unistrut, and brackets
Laying and connecting of potential equalisation cables
Proper installation of grounding system
Signal and power cables pulling and connecting
Installation of local control stations

Report deficiencies regarding work quality, organize and address improvement measures

Support clearance of construction punch items

Coordinate electrical sub-vendor

Check certificates for MV end termination kits and execute Lock-out Tag-out procedures (LOTO) for safety

Supervise high-potential tests of MV cables, check reports/records for insulation resistance of MV cables and LV equipment

Participate and support switching procedures with authorized personnel for pre-checks, powering up panels & subsystems

Support red-marking and as-built documentation

Assist in documentation and reporting activities in the completion management system to achieve MC

Pre-/Commissioning activities including interface with local commissioning team and licensed electrical personnel, loop checks, testing, and system commissioning

Profile

At least 2 years of experience in planning and/or supervision of electrical installation
At least 2 years of pre-commissioning and commissioning experience of electrical systems
Skills in parameterization of MV/LV circuit breakers, Simocode, Frequency Converters, and Power Controllers
Knowledge of medium voltage equipment, high-potential testing, and proper installation of MV cable end termination kits
Understanding of explosion hazards and protection measures
Proficiency in MS Office (MSACCESS, MSEXCEL, MSWORD)
Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, hands-on mentality, problem-solving attitude
Self-reliant, motivated, and committed to project completion
