Metric Search have been exclusively retained by a VC-backed start-up that is developing a failure analysis & incident response SaaS platform in collaboration with a German automotive OEM.

To support further co-development & integration they are seeking to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer / Field Solutions Architect who will be responsible for working on-site with the German OEM to understand their greatest problems and design new, bespoke solutions that can integrate with their internal systems & be used for their unique use cases.

This role will operate as a "mini-CTO" & requires a unique mix of customer facing skills, software expertise & domain understanding to be capable of owning and managing the end-to-end execution of complex software products.

• Frontend : React or Typescript

We're looking for someone who has :

• Bachelor's or a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related degree
• 2-8 years of professional experience in full-stack software development or Data Engineering
• Experience interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or a developer
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional, globally dispersed teams
• Affinity to work up in a dynamic start-up culture where no day will be the same
• A willingness to be on-site in Stuttgart as required
