Payments

Payments is a core product for Cash Management and a key growth area in Deutsche Bank’s strategy. To support our growth ambitions and maintain our position as a leading global player in the competitive payments market, we are investing heavily in Deutsche Bank's payment infrastructure.

Our team is developing a new generation of systems for processing corporate payments built on cloud architecture using GCP. The platform aims to replace many legacy applications by centralizing and reusing services during processing across different workflows.

Your role as SRE Engineer (f/m/x)

You will work with cloud infrastructure through Terraform, manage Helm charts, ArgoCD, Github, and Github actions, enhance monitoring with NewRelic, and participate in the SDLC cycle of our applications and their components.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Monitor system performance and business flows using Prometheus, NewRelic, and ITRS Geneos
• Automate delivery and maintenance procedures to reduce manual interventions in production
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable software releases
• Contribute to defining the future architecture of our systems

Your skills and experiences

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Unix family operating systems
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and NewRelic
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and firewalls
