Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver procurement savings targets and ensure compliance with pricing standards in business plans for third-party expenditure.
  • Develop annual productivity plans aligned with planning cycles and timelines.
  • Meet purchasing targets and timelines while respecting compliance, laws, policies, procedures, and global category strategies.
  • Run sourcing events, approve purchase orders/requisitions, and collate requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead-times, and minimum order quantities with suppliers annually to support budgeting (strong negotiation skills required).
  • Draft and negotiate written agreements.
  • Set inventory levels and related master data, including MOQs, and collaborate with SCM to reduce risks and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with the Centralised Procurement Team to set up new suppliers and update Vendor Master Data.
  • Work with Supply Chain to update procurement-related Material Master Data.
  • Leverage analytical skills to work with Site Leadership on service level agreements, supplier issues, and material planning.
  • Lead initiatives to implement Supplier KPIs and Scorecards, and develop strategies for improving supplier performance or sourcing alternatives.
  • Act as the key business partner for the site, leveraging the Elanco Global Procurement team.
  • Review quotes and contract language, escalating issues to global resources as needed.
  • Support supplier compliance initiatives, including maintaining approved supplier lists, resolving complaints, and conducting audits.
  • Review MRP reports and process purchase orders to ensure materials are available to support production schedules, communicating delays promptly.
  • Lead projects involving suppliers or materials, including launches and sourcing changes, conducting RFQs and sourcing events.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years in procurement, supply chain, or logistics roles
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Strong SAP/ERP skills
