Qualifikationen

We are looking for a Site Operations Lead that will help us establish and direct the site’s operations with a focus on the overall employee experience - bringing together all the workplace, people and management practices in order to create a thriving place to work. In partnership with the Site Leadership team you proactively drive and enable the strategic direction, growth and development of the site in line with Zalando strategic growth plans.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
• You grow and lead the Site Operations team, develop a shared vision and translate it into concrete actions by setting goals, initiating projects, and giving strategic guidance to your team. You invest in building and developing your team, act as a mentor, and support talent development and performance evaluation.
• You build strong relationships with stakeholders in the headquarter to ensure the site is an integrated part of Zalando and contributes to overarching initiatives while acting complaint with all local regulatory requirements.
• You work closely with the Site Operations Leads in other sites to align on implementing new frameworks, guidelines, policies, and standards and share learnings to make the best use of each other's potential.
• You strengthen the local Employer brand and ensure that the site is well-rooted in the local market and considered a respected corporate citizen by building strong relationships with local institutions.
• You ensure that your team can facilitate a vibrant and diverse community culture that creates a working environment.
• You ensure the development and implementation of the site people roadmap/talent strategy in partnership with the BUs and site business partners with a data-driven approach to drive relevant P&O and cultural topics across the site.
• You own the cost center of the site, plan and monitor the annual budget and facilitate the review process of the sites with the senior leadership teams.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
• Bring professional experience in HR, Operations, or similar areas, driving HR agenda and talent journey (ideally in a Tech environment)
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop, implement, and sustain changes while demonstrating strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills for various job levels
• Fluency in German and English
