Job Title: Site Manager / Supervisor
Project Location: Finnentrop, Germany
Start Date: 08 September 2025
Project Duration: Until Calendar Week 49 / 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 50–55 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract (Daily rate, negotiable)
Compensation: Daily rate in line with industry standards; rate will be a key selection criterion in case of multiple candidates
Accommodation & Transport: Provided or compensated as per agreement
Tools & IT Equipment: Provided by Voith
About the Project: You will be leading site activities for a generator refurbishment project, which includes inspection, dismantling, electrical and NDT testing, installation of a new thrust head, reassembly, and final commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the construction site, ensuring progress aligns with project plans and timelines
• Supervise a rotating team of two supervisors and up to eight laborers
• Ensure high standards of safety, health, environment (HSE), and quality are maintained
• Daily reporting, documentation of progress and deviations using Insite LSM
• Maintain accurate timesheets and records of material consumption
• Coordinate logistics for materials and resources
• Liaise and coordinate with contractors, clients, and third-party stakeholders
• Provide hands-on support when needed, including physical work on-site

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor on the supplier side within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects
• Solid experience with time and material contracts
• Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Capable of working independently and under pressure
• Familiarity with construction and safety documentation tools (e.g., Insite LSM)

Desirable (Not Mandatory):

• Experience in Hydropower projects
• Background in refurbishment or retrofit projects
