On behalf of our client, a company operating in the German construction market, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to independently manage bridge construction projects in the Brandenburg region.

Previous experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager
Practical knowledge of bridge construction, refurbishment, or structural strengthening projects
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent qualifications
Knowledge of steel and concrete structures and relevant construction standards
Understanding of construction scheduling, cost estimation, and project cost control
Knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
German language proficiency at a minimum B1-B2 level, sufficient for effective communication in the workplace
Valid category B driving licence
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage construction projects independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds
A proactive, independent, and solution-oriented approach
Experience with iTWO or other construction management software would be an advantage
Independently managing and supervising bridge construction projects, including new construction, refurbishment, and structural strengthening works
Organising and overseeing all stages of construction, from site preparation through to project completion and handover
Monitoring project schedules, costs, quality standards, and construction progress
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
Maintaining construction documentation, preparing cost reports, and tracking completed works
Conducting meetings with clients, design offices, and representatives of public authorities
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Responding proactively to project challenges and identifying practical solutions to improve project delivery
