Job summary

LSJ HR Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for on-site work in Berlin and Brandenburg, with occasional remote days. The role covers the full lifecycle from tendering to closeout within a German construction environment.

A 6-month initial contract with potential for permanent placement is offered, along with a performance-based bonus and a company car. Relocation support and language course funding are available.

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience independently managing construction projects, including financial settlements and closeout.
• Bridge construction experience with steel structures.
• Strong budgeting, costing, and scheduling knowledge.
• Knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures).
• Proficiency with iTWO software.
• German language proficiency sufficient for fluent professional communication.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions.

Job description

Do you have experience managing construction projects from start to finish and a solid understanding of bridge construction? Are you confident in managing budgets, schedules, and contracts, and can you communicate effectively in German? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you!

On behalf of our client, a company operating in the German construction market, we are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects throughout their entire lifecycle - from tendering and planning through to execution, financial settlement, and project closeout.

Stable employment under a German employment contract - an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent contract thereafter
