Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor in Dortmund seeks a senior operations leader to build, launch and run a new logistics site. You will establish robust structures and governance to ensure efficient, compliant operations and will oversee rapid ramp-up and ongoing performance.

You will lead a multi-tier management team for an organization that could reach 200–250 employees, ensuring safety, quality and continuous improvement across GDP/GxP sectors.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of leadership experience in a 3PL environment, ideally in healthcare/pharmaceutical logistics or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven experience in establishing, launching, ramping up or commissioning logistics sites or comparable operational setups.
• Experience leading large teams and multi-level management organizations, ideally with more than 150 employees.
• Solid understanding of warehouse processes, transport interfaces, operational performance management and KPI monitoring.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems as well as digital or automated warehouse solutions.
• Good understanding of GDP/GxP requirements and quality standards in pharma or healthcare logistics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills and a clear, hands-on leadership style.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Aufgaben

• Assume overall responsibility for the build-up, go-live, ramp-up and operational management of the new site in Dortmund.
• Establish robust operational structures, processes, governance routines, and clear responsibilities to ensure an efficient and compliance‑oriented site organization.
• Lead, develop and motivate a multi-tier management structure and an organization of, prospectively, up to 200–250 employees.
• Ensure reliable, safe and efficient operations in pharma and healthcare logistics and guarantee compliance with GDP/GxP requirements, internal standards and customer requirements.
• Responsible for budget, cost control, productivity and relevant KPIs, and for deriving actions for continuous improvement.
• Drive implementation and optimization of warehouse management systems, digital processes and standardized workflows.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with internal functions such as Quality Assurance, HR, Finance, IT, EHS, Customer Service, Business Development and regional leadership teams.
