Job summary

Grünenthal GmbH is seeking an IT leadership professional to own the site IT agenda for Aachen Packaging Center & API, driving digitalization, data initiatives and AI projects aligned with Global IT strategy.

The role focuses on end-to-end delivery of site IT projects, robust IT services, and collaboration with global teams to enable innovation and operational excellence at Grünenthal.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Informatics or related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in IT leadership, IT business partnering, digital transformation or operational IT environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across functions and levels.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, quality or operations environments; regulated industries exposure is a plus.
• Solid understanding of IT service management, project delivery, vendor management and digital technologies.
• Proactive, analytical and business-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the site IT agenda and act as the primary IT leadership contact for Aachen Packaging Center & API, representing IT in site governance.
• Drive local digitalization, data, automation and AI initiatives with clear business outcomes.
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of site-related IT projects and global technology solutions, managing dependencies and risks.
• Ensure reliable, secure, efficient and scalable IT services.
• Translate site priorities into an IT roadmap aligned with global product and technology roadmaps; collaborate with leadership and external partners.
• Foster continuous improvement by enhancing user experience, operational efficiency and technology adoption across the site.

What you'll bring to the table

• A degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Informatics or a related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in IT leadership, IT business partnering, digital transformation or operational IT environments, with demonstrated accountability for roadmaps and delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
• Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, quality or operations environments; exposure to regulated industries is a plus.
• Solid understanding of IT service management, project delivery, vendor management and digital technologies.
