Vector Talent is partnering with a growing manufacturing site in Göttingen to appoint a Site Financial Analyst for Operations finance. The role focuses on costing, standard cost models in SAP S4 HANA CO, and variance analysis against budget and forecast.

You’ll work closely with production, engineering and site leadership to understand cost drivers, support CAPEX ROI analyses, and identify procurement savings. On-site location; hybrid work available after initial onboarding.

Qualifikationen

• At least three years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance or cost analysis.
• SAP experience, ideally S4 HANA CO module.
• German language and good business English.
• Comfort operating cross-functionally in a matrix structure.

Site Financial Analyst -- Operations

Vector Talent is working with a growing manufacturing site in Göttingen to appoint a Financial Analyst for its Operations finance function, as the site builds out its team to support growth and profitability targets.

The role

You’ll own costing and standard cost models in SAP S4 HANA, run variance analysis against budget and forecast, verify continuous improvement and procurement savings, and support capital expenditure and ROI analysis. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and site leadership, asking the right questions and helping the business understand where its money is actually going.

What we’re looking for

We’re open on background. This includes people who’ve worked in manufacturing, on the shop floor or in office-based functions like industrial engineering, quality, or supply chain, and built real understanding of cost and process along the way, not just a pure finance career.

The opportunity

This is a newly created role sitting close to site leadership, with genuine scope to shape how it’s done rather than inherit someone else’s way of working. This is a business actively investing in its finance capability, not backfilling a gap.

Location: Göttingen, on-site. Hybrid working is available (2 days per week) but it’s preferred this person is onsite more in the initial few months.
