Simulator Software Engineer / Architect (m/f/d)

Zusammenfassung

OHB-System AG in Bremen is seeking a software architect to create and refine technical concepts, requirements and software architecture. You will develop, implement and test simulators and support technical reviews to ensure timely delivery.

You will coordinate with customers and internal software teams across reviews and milestones, working in a multicultural environment with English as the working language and a focus on self-organization and responsibility.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
• Ideally previous experience as software architect/technical lead in larger software projects (e.g. automotive, aerospace, scientific computing or gaming).
• Experience with distributed simulation frameworks (HLA), and with system-of-systems simulation is a plus.
• Experience with development and simulation of networks and communication systems and related protocols/technologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (or similar languages).
• Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes, and/or knowledge of related process standards from adjacent fields (such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or DO-178C) would be an advantage.
• Strong competence in self-organizing and work planning.
• High motivation, pro-active working approach, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong competence in working in a multicultural team.
• Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
