Zusammenfassung

OHB SE is seeking a software architect/lead for Bremen to drive the creation and refinement of technical concepts, requirements and software architecture. You will develop, implement and test simulators while actively supporting technical reviews and milestone reviews.

Collaborating with customers and internal software teams, you will ensure timely delivery of simulators, contribute to network and communications simulation efforts, and work in a multicultural environment with English proficiency

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
• Experience as software architect/technical lead in large software projects (e.g. automotive, aerospace, scientific computing or gaming).
• Experience with distributed simulation frameworks (HLA) is a plus.
• Experience with development and simulation of networks and communication systems and related protocols/technologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (or similar languages).
• Experience with NATO standards and related process standards (ECSS-E-ST-40C, ECSS-Q-ST-80C, DO-178C) would be advantageous.
• Strong self-organizing and planning skills.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a German security clearance.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.

• Ideally previous experience as software architect/technical lead in larger software projects (e.g. automotive, aerospace, scientific computing or gaming)
• Experience with distributed simulation frameworks (HLA), and with system-of-systems simulation is a plus
• Experience with development and simulation of networks and communication systems and related protocols/technologies is a plus
• Proficiency in modern C++ (or similar languages)
• Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes, and/or knowledge of related process standards from adjacent fields (such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or DO‑178C) would be an advantage
• Strong competence in self-organizing and work planning
• High motivation, pro-active working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
• Strong competence in working in a multicultural team
• Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance
