We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space, and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position of Simulation IT and Tools Administrator (f/m/d).

• Ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of IT Infrastructure (normal business hours)
• Continuously revise and improve the capabilities and reliability of IT infrastructure
• Deliver commissioning and decommissioning services for backbone as well as user-related computing hardware
• Take an active role in implementing an Infrastructure-as-Code paradigm across all services
• Maintain internal IaaS Services and the underlying technologies (e.g., Proxmox, Container Platforms, Lifecycle Management)
• Maintain internal PaaS Services (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, SVN, Moodle, etc.)
• Coordinate closely with corporate IT services like IT Security, Networking

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the operation and design of enterprise-level IT infrastructure
• High level of expertise in at least one or more related fields (e.g., virtualization, storage, automation)
• Experience with dynamic provisioning and immutable systems
• Solid multi-distro Linux skills and experience in one or more scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, C++, Go, etc.)
• Business fluent in German
• Good knowledge of English
