Your responsibilities

1. Deliver Front Office performance and operational excellence in quantitative algorithmic trading and power asset portfolio re-optimization.
2. Maintain responsibilities for the daily delivery of solid and compliant commercial performance across European markets, including:
   • Intraday trading, asset-backed and proprietary
   • aFRR and mFRR energy bidding from the Uniper asset portfolio in Europe
   • Leading role in renewables short-term exposure management
3. Coordinate operational activities smoothly with other trading desks and dispatching centers in Europe.
4. Participate in projects to develop and improve power physical quantitative trading at Uniper.
5. Shift role responsibilities.

Your profile

• Experience in trading functions, especially intraday asset-backed or proprietary physical trading.
• Experience with algorithmic trading and renewables, flexible asset optimization.
• Understanding of short-term market channels, compliance, and regulatory rules.
• Excellent analytical skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
• A true team player driven by challenges and a passion to deliver value and results in a changing environment.
• Programming experience in algorithms, especially in Python, is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German, Swedish, or Dutch language skills are advantageous.
• Ability to work primarily in the Düsseldorf office.
