Your Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and timely execution of technical operations related to maintenance (PMS and extraordinary), daily activities, improvements, and technical modifications for assigned ships.
- Oversee safety and environmental protection culture, working closely with onboard and shore teams (e.g., cruise governance) and the DPA.
- Collaborate with HR for ongoing evaluation and training development of shipboard personnel.
- Prepare for and support audits and inspections, follow up on findings, and document results in liaison with Cruise Governance / Audit Management. Follow up on actions and document in existing or new platforms like HESS-MS.
- Conduct onboard technical inspections and manage follow-up and reporting of the monthly vessel status.
- Devise, agree upon, and monitor the budget (Opex, Capex) for the assigned ships.
Your Profile
- Degree in Mechanical or Ship Technical Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
- Maritime practice knowledge is desirable.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience working onboard ships.
- Understanding of basic accounting and ability to manage budgets.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Junior leadership experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent English language skills (as this is our company language).
